"All media channels, digital platforms, and individuals are strictly advised to refrain from live coverage or real-time reporting of defence operations and the movement of security forces."

• No speculative reporting about operational details
• No dissemination of unverified information
• No sharing of sensitive locations or troop positions
• Exercise maximum restraint in social media posts

The Ministry urges all media organizations and citizens to exercise the highest level of vigilance, sensitivity, and responsibility in all coverage related to national security matters. Compliance with these guidelines is essential for operational security and the safety of our armed forces.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Any violation of these guidelines may attract legal action under relevant provisions of national security laws. Media organizations are requested to brief their teams immediately about these restrictions.
